Announcing further NOAA Great Lakes B-WET Funding!

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded our second grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Great Lakes Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET) program. More than $72,000 will continue to support the Flint River Green Bridges curriculum and teacher training program in its second year of development.

The new funding will allow further implementation of the project and additional developments in Bridges that will engage students in water quality through multiple subjects such as social studies, language arts, and math. Other developments will include an expanded career exploration component which connects students to local community experts and an expanded number of schools, teachers, and students who may participate.
